What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a manual medicine that focuses on the health of the entire musculoskeletal system. Rather than simply treating symptoms, we look at the body as a functional unit to relieve tension and improve overall mobility.
Tailored Treatment Plans
Every patient is unique. I adapt my techniques—ranging from gentle articulation and stretching to targeted manipulation—to suit your specific age and health circumstances. Your treatment is often supplemented with personalised lifestyle advice and exercise programs to empower your long-term recovery.
Professional Integration
As NHS-recognised Allied Health Professionals, we prioritise patient safety and collaborative care. We frequently liaise with other healthcare practitioners to provide a seamless path to wellness for our patients.

New Patient Appointment
Your initial session includes a comprehensive diagnostic assessment. We will review your medical history and current symptoms to ensure a clear understanding of your condition.
Following our discussion, I will conduct a physical examination of the affected areas and any related structures. By performing targeted Orthopaedic tests, I can provide an accurate diagnosis and create a treatment plan designed for your specific needs.
What to expect in your Appointment
Clinical Assessment and Examination
To perform a thorough physical assessment, it may be necessary to remove certain items of clothing to allow for a clear evaluation of the symptomatic areas. I will assess your range of motion, palpate for areas of tension or sensitivity, and conduct specific orthopedic tests. Based on these clinical findings, I will provide a diagnosis and discuss a treatment plan with you.
Patient Comfort and Consent
While osteopathic techniques are designed to be as comfortable as possible, some sensitivity may be experienced during treatment. I will always inform you if a specific technique is likely to be challenging, and we can pause or adapt the treatment at any time should you feel significant discomfort. Your comfort and consent are my primary concerns.
Post-Treatment Care
It is common to experience mild soreness or a "treatment reaction" in the affected area, typically resolving within 24 to 48 hours. However, should you experience any unusual or concerning symptoms following your session, please contact me immediately for professional advice.
